PETROL ENGINE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. 1,8 and 2,0 l engine: weaken a collar (4/8) and remove an air hose from the air filter (4).
2. 2,2 and 2,8 l engines: remove from the air filter (4) a flowmeter together with an air hose, previously having opened a fastening collar on a branch pipe of the air filter. Check a sealing ring of round section for absence of damage.
3. Remove the inlet pipeline (4/16).
4. Extend the air filter from rubber support (shooter) and remove it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert the air filter with the holding ledges into rubber support (arrows). Spread the inlet pipeline (4/16).
2. 1,8 and 2,0 l engines: get an air hose on the air filter and record it a collar.
3. 2,2 and 2,8 l engines: insert a flowmeter with a sealing ring of round section and record its collar of fastening.

DIESEL ENGINE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a clip spring from the hose going from a compensation tank with cooling liquid to the air filter.
2. Remove an air hose from the air filter, previously having weakened and having shifted a collar back.
3. Remove the soaking-up air inlet.
4. Take the air filter from rubber support and remove it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert into rubber support the air filter together with the directing pins.
2. Spread the soaking-up air inlet.
3. Pull the air hose going from a compensation tank with cooling liquid to the air filter over the air filter.
