3.1.19. General comments
In the present section operations on capital repairs of the engine, including details of a head of the block of cylinders and the block of cylinders are considered. Are included in the section as the recommendations concerning the organization and preparation of works on capital repairs of the engine, purchase of spare parts and the detailed description of procedures of dismantle and installation of details of the engine, and also methods of check of technical condition of details.In the subsequent subsections it is meant that repair work is carried out after dismantle of the power unit from the car.
The specifications given above are necessary only for check of technical condition of details in the procedures of repair described below.
