1.3. Keys
Together with your car you received 2 main keys, one auxiliary and one flat (from the English lock).The main key – with the angular handle – approaches all locks in the car.
Additional – with the roundish handle – approaches only locks at doors of the driver and the sitting next passenger, the lock of ignition and the lock in a gasoline tank. This key does not approach the lock in a luggage carrier and to the lock in a glove compartment.
The flat key approaches all locks in the car. We suggest to carry this key always with ourselves (for example, in a purse) and not to leave it in the car at all.
Replacement of automobile keys
Your car is equipped with the special closing system. Therefore replacement of keys is possible only at the service station "Mercedes-Benz".
