8.5.1. Check of thickness of a clutch plate in the mounted state
Coupling is self-regulating system and does not demand maintenance therefore it is impossible to determine wear of a clutch plate by a coupling pedal side play. To check clutch plate thickness in the mounted state, the special control template which can be made independently is required.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |

1. Make a control template of sheet metal 0,8 mm thick in scale 1:1. |
| 2. Raise the car. |
|
3. Insert a template (4) on the distributing device of coupling against the stop into a groove of a plastic insert. |
|

4. If the cut-out marks of a template (shooter) drown behind a flange of the distributive cylinder of coupling, then the clutch plate still has sufficient thickness. |
| 5. If the cut-out marks remain visible though the template is inserted against the stop, then in this case the clutch plate already reached the limit of wear and has to be replaced. |
| 6. Lower the car. |
