The indicator of level of oil consists of the oil level sensor which is installed on a spuskny stopper in the oil pallet, and a control lamp on the dashboard. The indicator controls oil level in the oil pallet, since temperature of oil of +60 °C. As soon as ignition joins, the control lamp burns for functional control and dies away after the beginning of rotation of the engine.

Oil level in the oil pallet is reproduced by means of a float (358). At the low level of oil (in the field of the lower mark of the masloizmeritelny probe) by means of a magnet (359) in a float opens геркон. Thanks to it electronics in the communication panel receives a signal, and the lamp lights up.

At the lowered oil level, depending on a driving manner, at first the control lamp for a while lights up, and then burns constantly.

That at various road situations, for example, at sharp turns to avoid false alarm signals, in the electronic scheme the line of a delay is built in. She allows to light up to a control lamp only after the alarm system of low level of oil during 60 sec.

For an exception of false indication at the cold engine (dense oil slowly pours out in the oil pallet) the sensor of level of oil is equipped with the bimetallic latching disk (352). It prevents operation empty of the float-operated camera through a drain opening (b) at low temperatures.

The bimetallic latching disk opens at a temperature about +60 °C and is closed at a temperature about +30 °C.

When replacing oil the float-operated camera is filled with oil through an air vent (and). It excludes the subsequent false indication. The indicator of level of oil is installed so that the control lamp lit up shortly before achievement of the min level on the masloizmeritelny probe (a safety reserve). Thanks to it it is possible to fill in oil not at once, and at the next opportunity, for example, when filling.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the lower cover of a motor compartment.
2. Lower engine oil.
3. Remove the plug (1) of the sensor of level of oil.
4. Unscrew bolts (20). Turn the sensor (351) of level of oil and take it from the oil pallet.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the oil level sensor with a new sealing ring of round section and twirl with the moment 10 N. of m.
2. Put on the plug.
3. Establish the lower cover of a motor compartment.
4. Fill in engine oil.
5. Warm up the engine and check tightness of the sensor of level of oil.
