Bolts of a head of the block of cylinders


Remove a head of the block of cylinders only at the cooled engine. Final and inlet collectors remain connected.

Defective sealing laying of a head of the block of cylinders is distinguished on the following signs:

 – loss of power;
 – leak of cooling liquid, exhaust gas of white color at the heated-up engine;
 – oil leak;
 – cooling liquid in engine oil, the level of oil does not fall, and increases;
 – gray color of engine oil, foam shreds on the masloizmeritelny probe, oil liquid;
 – engine oil in cooling liquid;
 – cooling liquid strongly rages;
 – there is no compression in two next cylinders.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise an engine cowl.
2. Disconnect a wire of "mass" of the battery (–).
Prevention

At a detachment of the battery the anticreeping code of radio is erased. Instructions see in subsection 14.1.7.


3. Remove the case of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. Remove a temperature regulator of cooling liquid (thermostat).
5. Turn off two bolts with a diameter of 8 mm (1) on both sides of forward covering (23). Behind a covering there are unloading plugs.
6. Unscrew bolts (2) (diameter of a carving of 6 mm).
7. Remove a covering (23), at the same time track a sealing ring of round section between a covering and a head of the block of cylinders. Clean sealing surfaces.
8. Unscrew the inlet gas pipeline (19) from a head of the block of cylinders and put aside with the connected wires.
9. Unscrew the holder (2) of the position sensor of the crankshaft located behind a head of the block of cylinders.
10. Disconnect ventilating hoses (6) in the bottom of a head of the block of cylinders.
11. Disconnect the connection plug a lambda probe (in the field of the rechargeable battery).
12. Unscrew the directing tube of the masloizmeritelny probe in a head of the block of cylinders. At the automatic transmission unscrew also directing tube of the maslomerny device behind a head of the block of cylinders.
13. Lower cooling liquid including from a case of a bent shaft.
14. Unscrew an exhaust pipe from a final collector.
15. 2,2 l engine: turn the cam-shaft regulator to the right against the stop in the direction of "spat" (late).
16. Install the engine on 20 ° after VMT of ignition of the first cylinder and remove a natyazhitel of a chain.
17. Designate paint the provision of the operating chain in relation to both gear wheels of a cam-shaft, having put a stroke through a chain and a chain wheel.
18. Unscrew a pulley of a final cam-shaft from a flange of a bent shaft.
19. 2,0 l engine: unscrew a gear wheel of an inlet cam-shaft.
20. 2,2 l engine: holding an anchor (2) regulators of a cam-shaft, unscrew a bolt with a fillet (1). Remove an anchor from the operating piston (18). Unscrew a nut (6).
21. Remove the operating chain.
22. 2,2 l engine: designate the provision of a gear wheel of an inlet cam-shaft in relation to a shaft with a flange, having carried out by paint a stroke through both details. Uncover (12), a gear wheel of an inlet cam-shaft (13), the adjusting piston (14) and a spherical spring (14a). Dismantle a shaft with a flange (16).
23. Extend by means of a shock vytyagivatel or the suitable tool the directing fingers (11).
24. Unscrew four combined bolts (A) between the top and lower cover of a case of a chain. Unscrew bolts of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence, their return numbering in the drawing, i.e. from the tenth on the first. The nozzle on a wrench, for example, of HAZET 990 SLg-12 is for this purpose necessary (see rice. Bolts of a head of the block of cylinders).
25. Raise a head of the block of cylinders. It can be made also by means of the crane, having passed the corresponding cable or a chain in eyes.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before assembly clear a suitable shaber a head of the block of cylinders and the block of cylinders of the sealant remains. Track that these remains did not get to openings. For this purpose close openings a rag.
2. Check by means of a steel ruler a head of the block of cylinders and the motor block for planeness in the longitudinal and cross directions, if necessary – finish (in repair shop).
3. Check a head of the block of cylinders for lack of cracks, and the working surface of the cylinder on absence рисок, scratches.
4. Clear openings of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders of oil and other deposits.
5. Surely replace sealing laying of a head of the block of cylinders.
6. Impose new sealing laying without sealant so that openings were not closed.
7. Establish a head of the block of cylinders. Before installation be convinced that camshafts and a bent shaft stand as at dismantle, and are not turned.
Prevention

The head of the block of cylinders is aligned in the block of cylinders by adjusting pins.


8. Measure length of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders which in a new state makes 102 mm. When tightening adhere to this length. With a length of 105 mm replace bolts of a head of the block of cylinders.
9. Oil a carving of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders and the place of their prileganiye to a block head, establish bolts and twirl manually.
10. Tighten bolts of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence from 1 to 10 (see rice. Bolts of a head of the block of cylinders) in three stages.
Prevention

Carefully tighten bolts of a head of the block of cylinders. Before tightening check a dynamometer key for accuracy.


At first tighten bolts of a head of cylinders a dynamometer key consistently with 1 on 10 with m 55 N.' moment. At the second stage tighten all bolts with 1 on 10 for 90 ° Rozhkov a key. At the third stage tighten bolts of a head of the block of cylinders with 1 on 10 on 90 ° in the same direction Rozhkov a key.
Prevention

When tightening bolts of a head of the block of cylinders arrange the wrench handle along the engine and turn one movement before its installation across – for turn on 90 °.


11. Tighten the combined bolts (A) of a cover of the case of management with m 20 N.' moment.
12. Cover the directing fingers with Mercedes N 002 989 00 20 10 sealant or other suitable sealant and drive.
