1.8.2. Start-off about places and gear shifting

Having started check a brake. Quickly warm up the engine. After achievement of the necessary temperature of the engine check steering. In order to avoid damage of a back axis, at start-off from the place on the slippery surface of the road completely avoid long scrolling of driving wheels.

Mechanical transmission

Switching to the reverse gear is carried out at the standing car. For this purpose it is necessary to raise the switching lever.

Do not exceed the most admissible speeds in separate transfers (see marking on a speedometer).

Leaving the car, put on 1 or the reverse gear, put on the emergency brake.

Automatic transmission

Separate transfers join automatically, depending on:

Leaving the car or performing any works in the car with the working engine, to install the emergency brake, and the choice lever in situation "P".
Start-off

Install the choice lever on desirable situation only in the single mode of the engine, involving at the same time the braking mode. At once at start-off release a brake, otherwise there is a danger that the car will start prematurely.
